There's one on the downloads page of the freedomscientific site, or used to be.

If you can't find it send me a pm and I'll go see if I can find it again.

I looked in the freedom sientifick website and i found something called winboard. Is this the chess?
At the moment i can't download it. My university network seams to have problem with ftp links. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't lol.
For somebody to find it they need to click on downloads choose the link for jaws downloads and there is a link at the botom for more downloads and it's there.

The winboard on the jaws website seams a very old version.
I found the creator's website with more up to date links.

Excellent work Nikos. However, I went out to the author's site and it appears that winboard may not be accessible. It sounds like it's very graphical to me. However, some of our inveterate programmers might wish to give making it accessible a try. It appears that it is very easy to get the source code.

Hi.
I tryed the new winboard, and it wasn't accessible.
I wonder what they did to make the old one accessible.
Thanks for the help.
I would try to make an accessible free one, but I don't know all the rules, and I still need to learn some more before I can.

I think the old winboard was a combination of programming and scripts.

If what you want to do is play chess, then go with the old one.

Not sure if this helps anyone, but the chess game on the Mac is accessible with Voiceover.
